Welcome to Ridgway Court, a charming two-storey residential care home in Farnham, Surrey. Our home has been converted from two lovely residential houses to create a warm and inviting environment for older people.
Located within easy reach of Farnham town centre, Ridgway Court benefits from excellent transportation links, including a nearby bus route and train stations that connect to the local area and London. The home is also conveniently situated near local shops, including a small Tesco Express, a butcher, and a lovely fresh bakery.
At Ridgway Court, our highly skilled team of carers and nurses provide exceptional care within a secure, relaxed, and homely environment. Our dedicated staff members are committed to developing the wellbeing of all our residents through tailored individual support and care, ensuring their comfort and happiness.
Our rooms
Our home features a total of 16 well-appointed bedrooms, spread across the ground and first floors. All bedrooms are single rooms, with 14 of them offering en-suite facilities complete with a basin, toilet, and either a shower or bath. The remaining two rooms feature a hand basin and toilet, with the fees adjusted accordingly.
Each room is tastefully decorated, equipped with fitted wardrobes, and equipped with call bells for added convenience. Natural light fills the rooms, and the views vary from bedroom to bedroom.
We encourage residents to personalise their rooms by bringing their own furniture, helping to create a true sense of home. Many of our rooms offer a beautiful outlook onto the garden, and the home is conveniently located opposite the local shops.
Communal spaces
Ridgway Court is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, featuring a patio area and a pleasant gazebo. Residents can enjoy the serene setting, with mature trees and well-maintained shrubs providing a delightful view to enhance their relaxation and enjoyment.
Activities and events
Our on-site house manager ensures that the home is warm, comfortable, and safe, providing a nurturing environment for residents. Daily meals are carefully prepared, offering a variety of nutritious and enjoyable options. We have commitment to promoting engagement of both the body and mind, offering a year-round calendar of activities and trips for residents. We value resident input and encourage them to actively participate in choosing the activities they would like to be involved in.
Respite care
We understand that sometimes individuals require short-term support, and at Ridgway Court, we are here to help. Our dedicated team offers personalised respite care packages throughout the year, ensuring that each individual's specific needs are met.

“My mother has been a resident at Ridgway Court for some three and a half years. She is very happy and content in the gentle environment created by the wonderful staff at Ridgway Court. I cannot fault the way my mother has been looked after, especially during these disturbing and worrying Covid-19 times. The manager, nursing staff, carers, cooks and ancillary staff all take responsibility and are always ensuring that the residents are happy and their needs are taken care of. As a daughter of a resident, I have always been listened to and all my requests have been acted on. A simple entertainments programme provides a change of scene for everyone once or twice a week. During the summer, the residents were able to get outside into the garden, if they wished, and enjoy the sunshine with a cup of coffee/tea and biscuits - my mother loves to sit outside, so this suits her fine. I would thoroughly recommend Ridgway Court and Abbeyfield Wey Valley to anyone thinking of long term residential care.”
